“I Am Alive”

Original text by Carol Koffinke. This is an art song that celebrates those rare moments in life when we are moved to keen awareness of being alive. Perhaps something in nature, a sunset, a piece of music, moves us so much that we can hardly contain the incredible expansion and overwhelming sense of connection with life. This song celebrates and attempts to capture that.
